Job Opportunities
- Whether Local 6 members decide to stay at home or travel for work, the outlook is positive. With the Windsor Casino currently underway and new projects such as the East End Recreation Center – new home of the HOL Windsor Spitfires, and the
$60 million Windsor Regional Hospital expansion slated to start soon.
Training
- In partnership with St. Clair College, Local 6 offers apprenticeship, upgrade, and safety training programs.
Wages and Benefits
- The current collective bargaining agreement states that the basic hourly rates are $37.91 (B, M, P) and $36.97 (MM, TL, TW) and will be increased to $39.06 and $37.42 respectively on May 1, 2012.
- Comprehensive benefits include pension, RRSP, medical, dental, prescriptions, and retirement.
